Who we are
Monaghan Music & Piano Centre is a successful family-run business in operation now for over 25 years.
The business originally started out as a furniture store. In 1998 Niall McClean purchased the premises from his father and established it solely as a piano and musical instrument refurbishment and distribution business. We recently built a new state-of-the-art 27,000 sqft warehouse, large enough to receive 40’ containers and the business has expanded rapidly over the last 5 years. We currently supply over 203 dealers across both Ireland and the UK.
The company took on the distribution rights for KHS Hercules stands in 2005 – which is now the leading music stand in Ireland and also established our own “Koda” brand for musical instruments alongside our own “Steinhoven” brand for upright and grand pianos, which are now being exported to the UK and across Europe.

With our experience in design, manufacturing, importing, repairing, selling, and restoring the finest quality pianos and musical instruments. We are now one of the largest retail and wholesale piano companies in Ireland and have developed strong ties with international manufacturers.
The flagship of our piano business is the “Steinhoven” piano – designed and manufactured by ourselves to our own and German specifications in China – with over 11 models in the range they are fast becoming the piano of choice for many dealers, music schools, concert venues and piano teachers in Ireland & UK.
